Assistance from Boa Constrictors by Melody H.

There are many people in the world struggling to cope with their health, or mental health, but service animals are very useful for those kinds of problems. These animals are helpful to those who need medical attention. They can also help with emotional support. There are many animals that can be service, therapy, or emotional support animals. One of these animals can be a boa constrictor which can help you and have benefits such as that they are easy or train, they can help you with physical health, and also assist with mental health!

To start off, boa constructors are easy to train. According to Prezi.com, the article “How Using a Boa Constrictor as a Service Animals Shapes People” they can be very easy to train. This is because they are very well-tempered. The story also says that it is easy because it is naturally a part of them. Training will not be so hard to do because most boas are always loyal to their handlers as long as they are being taken cared for. Most of the time boa constrictors are used for seizure patients because they can easily sense their owner’s blood pressure to see if they will get a seizure. A boa constrictor is very easy to train which makes it a very good emotional support and/or therapy animal.

In addition, boa constrictors can help with physical health. According to Prezi.com’s article “How Using Bo’s Constrictors as a Service Animal Shapes People,” they can help with somebody’s health and well-being with things like seizures. These snakes can help with seizures simply because they can sense them coming. They can do this because, like how I explained in the first topic paragraph, they can easily sense their owner’s blood pressure to see if they will get a seizure. This is a very helpful benefit of having a boa constrictor as a service animal. In this article it also tells a story of Daniel Greene and his boa constrictor Red-rock. The story says, “But Red-rock, a boa constrictor belongs to Daniel Greene, proved otherwise when he saved his epileptic owner from multiple seizures simply because he can sense them coming.”  This is a huge benefit to help others with their needs with a boa constrictor.

Lastly, boa constrictors can help with people’s mental health According to hrdailyadvisor.blr.com, in the article “Service Animals Gone Wild: Bring Your Boa Constrictor to Workday,” they can make their owners feel better mentally with loneliness and anxiety. This is because they can provide company to their owners and be with them easily. Boa constrictors are mostly emotional support animals. According to moome.com, "8 of the Craziest Emotional Support Animals", ”The snakes can be registered as ESAs to help patients suffering from bipolar disorder, anxiety attacks and obsessive-compulsive disorder.” A boa constrictor can help with all of these things and can be really helpful. They are a good animal to keep you company. This is my last reason on why a boa constrictor is a good service animal because they can help with mental health.

In conclusion, a boa constrictor is a good service and emotional support animal because they have their benefits. They are naturally easy to train. They can help with physical health. They can also help with mental health including anxiety and loneliness. To sum up, there are a lot of benefits of having a boa constrictor as a therapy or emotional support animal.
