There are people who have mental and physical problems who would need a service animal or an emotional support animal. Animals that are service or an emotional support animals help people by helping the owners with a disability, like guiding a blind person. Emotional support animals help people with depression, autism and anxiety. Some animals cannot be a service animal because service animals need to be an animal who can go everywhere with you and help you; also, most of the non-service animals are emotional support animals. One of the animals that are for support is a guinea pig because they are trainable and can help with mental health and physical health.  

To start off, there are reasons why guinea pigs are trainable. In www.wikihow.com says that all guinea pigs are trainable and they are friendly. They enjoy chin scratches, ear scratches and head scratches. This what makes guinea pigs a good support animal by being friendly. It also states that guinea pigs enjoy chewing sticks, space for its cage, and a house to hide themselves there. This is what a guinea pig needs in everyday life. It mentions guinea pigs cannot hear loud noises since their ears are sensitive. A quiet atmosphere is good for the guinea pig, as well as a human in need of emotional support. Following up, guinea pigs can support people who have mental health issue.  

To continue there are details that guinea pigs can support people with mental health. It states in esadoctors.com that guinea pigs are destructive or aggressive and they will be nice to you if you give it respect, and then it shows you kindness. These animals, unlike others, react to kindness. It states in healthproblemsnew.com that guinea pigs can ease your anxiety when you’re home alone at night. This is what guinea pigs can do to help with mental health. It also states that guinea pigs can support with love issues and stress in life. Guinea pigs are nice to watch when upset or angry. Next, guinea pigs can help with physical health problems.  

To end things, there are solutions in which guinea pigs can support with physical health issues. In www.disabilityscoop.com, it states that guinea pigs can support people with Down Syndrome and other issues. Guinea pigs support people with numerous physical health issues. It also states that guinea pig can help people with autism to keep the person calm down. This what guinea pigs do to support people who need to regular their emotions. It says that guinea pigs can help with depression. Guinea pigs are supportive when it comes to depression. These soothing qualities make guinea pigs a great support animal. 

To conclude, there are reasons why guinea pigs can support people. Guinea pigs are trainable by how they are nice and not mean to others.  For physical health, they assist with anxiety and stress. Guinea pigs are supportive with mental health, like for people with Down Syndrome and autism. Guinea pigs make an ideal animal to have around for support.
